Annealed properties include tensile strength 515-700 MPa (304)/485 MPa min (304L), yield strength 205 MPa (304)/170 MPa (304L), elongation min 40%, hardness max 92 HRB/201 HB, density 8.0 g/cm³, and thermal conductivity 16.2 W/m·K. These deliver excellent drawability, weldability without post-anneal, and resistance up to 870°C intermittent oxidation.
