Super Duplex Steel S32760 (also known as 1.4501) is a high-performance alloy with a composition primarily consisting of 25% chromium, 7% nickel, 4% molybdenum, and 0.3% nitrogen, offering superior corrosion resistance, particularly against pitting and crevice corrosion. Its mechanical properties include a tensile strength of approximately 800-1100 MPa, yield strength of around 550-800 MPa, and elongation of 25-40%. This alloy provides excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking and is ideal for applications in aggressive environments such as offshore, chemical processing, and seawater systems.
