Titanium coil and slitting coils are mainly titanium (about 99%) with trace elements such as aluminium, vanadium and iron, which increase their strength and corrosion resistance These coils exhibit good mechanical properties, with tensile strength of 240-550 MPa and yield strength a 170-485 MPa depending on grade The special width (15-30%) provides excellent ductility so, making them suitable for fabrication and machining. The lightweight properties of titanium, coupled with fatigue resistance and superior stability under extreme temperatures make these slitting coils ideal for air, space, chemical and marine applications.
